How to Design a Bathroom You'll Love!

We love designing bathrooms! Over the last fifteen years we have designed every type of bathroom you could think of and for an array of clients.

One of the most important design choices for bathrooms is the tile. A bathroom can be transformed by tile alone and its use on floors, walls, backsplash and shower surrounds makes all the difference. One of our favorite go-to tile companies is Porcelanosa as shown above and there are colors and finishes to suit every design.

Another items to consider is the tub... to soak or not? An oversized soaking tub can transform your space to a luxurious oasis where you can relax after a long day. If you have room consider a free standing tub, with so many shapes and depths you will be spoiled for choice.

A steam shower like the one above from Moen is a great investment and will help you to relax after a busy day or tough workout. We love the new ioDigital collection from Moen, you can personalise your shower or bath experience by adjusting water flow and temperature to suit your needs.

Indulge, relax or rejuvenate every time you step into your bathroom, consider how you wish the space to feel.

My personal choice is reproducing that " spa feeling " to retreat to our bathroom whenever I can! The spa look can be is easily achieved and transform any bathroom in just a few simple steps.

Choose soothing wall colors - think creams & sand colors, add thick, fluffy towels, a snuggly white robe, soft lighting and place all your favorite soothing creams, salts and scrubs in pretty glass containers.

Soak & Enjoy!
